For over 50 years, Aish Hatorah has been on a singular mission: to ignite the spark of Jewish identity in every soul we encounter.

Our Founding

A Vision Born in Jerusalem

In 1974, Rabbi Noah Weinberg founded Aish Hatorah in Jerusalem with a bold and simple vision: that every Jewish person, no matter how distant from their heritage, deserves the opportunity to discover the depth and beauty of Torah.

What began as a small yeshiva in the Old City of Jerusalem has grown into a global movement, with centers in 45 countries and programs that have touched hundreds of thousands of lives.

Our approach has always been the same: meet people where they are, engage their questions honestly, and trust that when given the chance, every Jewish soul will recognize the light of Torah.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

Every Jew Matters

We believe every Jewish person, regardless of background or observance level, deserves access to the beauty and depth of their heritage.

Intellectual Integrity

We engage questions honestly and rigorously. Doubt is welcomed. Curiosity is celebrated. We never ask anyone to check their mind at the door.

Authentic Connection

Real transformation happens in community. We build genuine relationships — not just programs — that last a lifetime.

Living Torah

Torah is not a museum piece. We make ancient wisdom relevant, practical, and transformative for modern Jewish life.
